About Us
The Tahoe Truckee Trash Alliance is a grassroots movement dedicated to protecting the natural beauty of our region by uniting the community in action, education, and environmental stewardship. Born out of a shared love for our lakes, rivers, and trails, our alliance brings together volunteers, local leaders, and partner organizations to tackle one of the most visible and preventable threats to our environment: litter.

We believe keeping Tahoe and Truckee clean isn't just about picking up trash — it’s about creating a culture of awareness, responsibility, and care. Through cleanup events, educational outreach, and partnerships with schools, local agencies, and community groups, we work to inspire lasting change.
